CMC Electronics Completes Acquisition of Flight Visions

(Farnborough International, July 22, 2002) CMC Electronics has completed the acquisition of Flight Visions Inc., of Sugar Grove, Illinois on July 3, 2002. Flight Visions is a well established military aviation company that designs and manufactures a range of cockpit systems and products that includes head-up displays (HUDs), mission computers and control panels for fighter and fighter trainer aircraft, as well as rotary wing aircraft. The operation in Sugar Grove, IL, comprises approximately 100 employees and will operate as an integral part of CMC Electronics.

"Flight Visions has a very competitive line of Head-Up Display systems and other avionics equipment suited for the military and paramilitary aviation markets.
