CMC Electronics Announces Bizjet Sale Of Its New PilotView™ Electronic Flight Bag to Execaire

Avionics-Grade, Class 2 System, Designed For All Phases Of Flight

(National Business Aviation Association - October 11, 2004) CMC Electronics Inc. has been awarded a contract for two PilotView™ Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) installations from Execaire. The installations will be for an Execaire client on two Citation Encore corporate aircraft. The first installation will take place in November 2004, making this the second business jet in Canada to be outfitted with a CMC Electronics' PilotView EFB.

CMC Electronics launched its Electronic Flight Bag line of products last year and retained responsibility for the former Northstar aviation sector products, further to the sale of its subsidiary Northstar Technologies of Acton, MA, to Brunswick Corporation of Lake Forest, IL. The former Northstar aviation sector products, including the CT-1000G Electronic Flight Bag and the M1 and M3 series GPS products, now benefit from CMC Electronics' expertise in avionics manufacturing and maintenance, and its international product support capabilities.

Execaire, based in Mississauga, Ontario (Canada), is the only certified Cessna Citation Service Center in Canada, with many years of avionics, installation and service experience. Execaire provides avionics sales, installation and service for corporate aircraft, and is located at Lester B. Pearson International Airport, Toronto (YYZ). Execaire is widely known by discerning Cessna aircraft owners/operators.
