FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL AIR SHOW, July 16, 2018 – Esterline Corporation (www.esterline.com) (NYSE Symbol: ESL), a leading global specialty manufacturer primarily serving the aerospace and defense markets, today announced that it has been selected by a Gulf country for a middle-to-heavy helicopter platform upgrade which includes Esterline Integrated Helicopter Solutions (IHS).

The Esterline Integrated Helicopter Solutions (IHS) include a glass cockpit (MFD-3068 and RDU-3068), a flight management system (FMS-9000), a GPS landing system (CMA-6024) and other optional features. The upgrade will address obsolescence, reduce workload, enhance safety, increase situational awareness and equip the helicopters with the latest Esterline Avionics Systems technology as part of an upgrade that is creating one of the most capable rotary wing in the region.
A broad selection of Esterline’s state-of-the-art products is currently on display at the 2018 Farnborough Air Show in Hall 1, booth 1180. The show runs through July 19.
