(Orlando – October 16, 2018) Esterline Avionics Systems, CMD Flight Solutions and DAC International are pleased to announce the Supplemental Type Certificate (ST03424CH and ST04159CH) approval of their ADS-B Out solution for Part 25 aircraft. The CMD STCs pair Esterline CMC Electronics’ CMA-3024 GPS/SBAS (GNSSU) receiver with the Rockwell Collins TDR-94/94D or Honeywell RCZ-8XX Primus II Com/Transponder to meet the latest DO-260B ADS-B Out standards mandated worldwide.

Don Paolucci, Vice President Navigation Systems at Esterline Avionics Systems said, “This STC brings together the best Esterline, DAC and CMD have to offer. Featuring Esterline’s own CMA-3024, our joint ADS-B Out solution delivers a high quality and cost-effective design that the business jet and turbo-prop markets have been waiting for.”

These approved model list (AML) STCs, provided by CMD Flight Solutions, cover a wide list of aircraft including Bombardier’s CRJ, Challenger and DASH-8; Hawker 400/400XP; Learjet 24, 35, 45, 60; Gulfstream G-II, G-III, G-IV, G-V; Cessna Citation II, V, VI and VII; and many more.

Cisco Hernandez, President of DAC International, said: “We believe that the CMA-3024 offers many benefits as a fully SBAS compatible, Air Transport grade ADS-B Out compliant position source. Also due to its easy bolt-on installation, it requires no special avionics mounting, resulting in a timely upgrade.”

The CMA-3024 aviation sensor provides fully ADS-B compliant SBAS/GPS primary means navigation for business, regional, commercial air transport and helicopter aircraft. It is fully compatible and operational with all SBAS signals worldwide. With SBAS coverage, differential corrections are incorporated to further improve RNP capability, providing RNP0.1 with outstanding navigation system availability.

Full install kits, including the CMA-3024 and STC package, are provided by DAC International. Please contact DAC for additional information and the complete list of applicable aircraft.
