Overview

CMC Electronics offers a portfolio of on-board communication systems solutions to the aviation community, providing superior value in meeting their evolving voice, data, and video communications needs.

CMC delivers aeronautical communication systems to OEMs and to Air Transport, Regional and Business Jet operators. CMC currently supplies the antenna systems of more than 70% of all Aero-H airline installations.

CMC’s product portfolio includes Premium Performance High Gain antenna systems, a Value Performance High Gain antenna system (Aero-H) and an Intermediate Gain antenna system (Aero-I). Building on our expertise in antenna systems, we are currently developing the next generation of these products including smaller, lower weight antennas as well as innovative broadband systems.

  • Provides robust high latitude performance (exceeds Inmarsat performance specifications).
  • Low cost of ownership through high reliability - MTBFs well in excess of 100,000 hours based on 3,200 installations with over 60 airlines.
  • Easily upgradeable for SwiftBroadband functionality using the CMA-2102SB

This Top-Mounted antenna with diplexer/LNA (and integral ARINC 781 beam steering unit) provides global coverage with no blind spots (keyholes); a design that virtually eliminates multipath intererence.
